Summary
On Tuesday, April 5th from 8:00AM to 10:00PM, in addition to General Elections Whitworth students will have the opportunity to vote on the spending of ASWU funds to upgrade the Events department sound system. The current system is not able to provide quality sound services for campus events. The total cost of the system upgrade is just under $10,000. Currently ASWU has an excess of approximately $50,000. A yes vote will provide the Whitworth sound system with new subwoofers and main speakers. A no vote will mean that ASWU maintains its balance of about $50,000 in excess funds. This excess will be available for additional requisitions.
